TV&A is responsible for assisting our global clients in answering their most challenging problems using 5 key pillars:

  • Innovation & Tech Futures: Explore the latest technologies & build practical use cases in a hands-on approach, helping our clients reimagine their business.
  • Enterprise & Business Architecture: Translate business vision into technology strategy to ensure foundational capabilities are in place.
  • Transformation & Programme Architecture: Harnessing our expertise in EA & SA to set the strategic vision, create the blueprint for change as a precursor to driving delivery across programmes with complex interdependencies.
  • Solution Architecture: Develop blueprints to implement a tailored solution that fulfils the strategy and provides technical assurance. Linking into Cloud, cyber, integration and much more.
  • Architecture Acceleration & Transition: Provide guidance and support to establish, run and transition our clients’ Enterprise Architecture function by developing our Agile Architecture PoV and Architecture function in a Box.

This exciting role will involve the following:

  • Supporting key workstreams on client engagements, maintaining awareness of market trends across architecture, digital technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Part of small-to-medium architecture teams to deliver Enterprise Architecture outcomes and technology strategy deliverables.
  • Support the definition and delivery of clients’ architecture vision, options analysis and design decisions, ensuring traceability from requirements to outcomes.
  • Help establish and run architecture governance and assurance (principles, standards, review forums), and coach teams in applying them pragmatically.
  • Contribute to architecture methods, assets and reusable collateral to build community capability and improve delivery quality.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals (approach, scope, estimates) and developing points of view aligned to client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders on modern technology and architecture options.
  • Deliver architecture input across complex change initiatives, shaping target state designs and transition roadmaps across multiple workstreams.
  • Contribute to proposition development for Banking, Capital Markets and Investment Management, supporting go-to-market activities and knowledge sharing.

For Consultant grade, you must demonstrate experience in:

  • Awareness of financial services businesses, evolving market/industry trends and how architecture enables change, including awareness of key regulatory drivers.
  • Experience supporting and contributing to business development activities (e.g., shaping opportunities, writing proposals, developing estimates) and building trusted client relationships.
  • Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and demonstrable depth and breadth across at least 2 of these domains: Applications, Data, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Machine Learning/AI, Platforms, Security, Integration, Business Architecture.
  • Experience working with financial services applications such as core banking, document management, CRM, workflow/business process management and finance platforms, and understanding how these integrate within a bank’s technology landscape.
  • Document Management System, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, Workflow / Business Process Management applications & Financial applications and the supporting tech stack for a bank’s operations.
  • Experience working with relevant applications including treasury solutions, trading solutions, market research platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience of using new generation technology for digital banking clients e.g., AI for onboarding; leveraging cloud technologies such as Banking as a Service, adoption of data analytics for risk assessment and predictive analytics on customer behaviour and spending; blockchain/DLT and zero trust security architecture to protect sensitive and personal data.
  • Build external and internal eminence by contributing your thought leadership (e.g., by speaking at industry events or publications).

This role requires the ability to operate as an Enterprise Architect in Banking. The ideal candidate therefore should have some expertise in one of the following banking specialisms.

  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design for core banking implementations in the retail everyday banking space including accounts, deposits, savings, overdrafts, loan, payment and card functionality
  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design for multiple core banking implementations to support retail lending products such as mortgages and personal loans
  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design for core banking implementations for corporate lending products such as complex corporate loans (term loans, revolving credit), trade finance and asset finance
  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design for loan origination solutions and credit processing solutions to support retail and corporate products
  • Experience in architecture design for leading core banking vendor products from Thought Machine, FIS, Finastra, ORACLE, Mambu or 10X
  • Expertise in architecture design for origination and credit handling products such as nCino and/or Trade Ledger
  • Expertise in delivering digital banking architecture and designs specifically mobile and webapp solutions in the banking industry
  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design payment solutions, including faster payments, SWIFT or cards solutions
  • Expertise in delivering the architecture and design within the fincrime domain including customer onboarding, AML, KYC and fincrime detection solutions
