Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Somerset & North Devon Vascular Network as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. The role attracts 10 PA's per week and includes participation in the 1:7 consultant on-call rota, clinical governance, education, quality improvement, research, and service development.

You will join a highly performing regional network providing comprehensive elective and emergency vascular services to a population of approximately 750,000. This post supports the continued growth of vascular and endovascular activity across the Network and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of modern vascular services.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to provide the full spectrum of vascular surgical care.
  • Demonstrate experience in contemporary endovascular practice, including:
    • EVAR
    • Complex iliac and femoropopliteal intervention
    • Hybrid procedures
  • Additional expertise in complex aortic intervention, limb salvage techniques, and advanced endovascular technologies would be advantageous.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, specialist nurses, vascular scientists, and allied health professionals, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across hub and spoke sites.
