Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.

Your Role

As a FinOps Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimising cloud costs and enhancing financial accountability within organisations, with an awareness of how AI‑enabled workloads and AI‑assisted capabilities are increasingly influencing cloud consumption patterns, cost models, and financial governance.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analysing cloud usage patterns to identify cost‑saving opportunities, preparing detailed financial reports, and establishing comprehensive cloud governance policies. You will also provide training on FinOps best practices, promote a culture of cost awareness, and manage relationships with cloud vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and cost efficiency. Your expertise will help organisations achieve financial transparency and sustainable cloud cost management.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Cost Optimisation - Review and analyse cloud usage patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities. Guide cloud users on methods to optimize cloud usage, establish and enforce budget-aligned policies for financial accountability, and implement automated solutions for continuous cost monitoring and optimisation.

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis - Prepare detailed financial reports, including forecasting and variance analysis. Present these reports to senior client management and application teams to highlight cloud spend and trajectory, providing visibility into cloud spending trends and actionable insights for cost management.

  • Policy and Governance - Establish and enforce comprehensive cloud governance policies, guardrails, and best practices to ensure cost control and compliance. Develop and maintain a governance framework that aligns with organisational objectives.

  • Training and Enablement - Provide training on FinOps best practices and establish mechanisms to promote a culture of accountability and cost awareness. Develop and deliver workshops, training sessions, and educational materials to empower teams with the knowledge and tools needed for effective cloud financial management.

  • Vendor Engagement - Engage and manage relationships with cloud vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and cost efficiency. Collaborate to leverage their expertise and resources for continuous improvement in cloud cost management.

  • AI & FinOps – Maintain awareness of how AI impacts FinOps (FinOps for AI), including the cost and governance implications of AI‑driven workloads, and how AI‑assisted tooling (AI for FinOps) can support forecasting, anomaly detection, insights generation, and optimisation activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
