CONSULTANT/SENIOR CONSULTANT – GTM RECRUITER
Certus Recruitment · Cambridge, UK
The Opportunity
Certus Recruitment has been a trusted partner to founders, operators, and investors across the technology landscape for over 25 years. As we grow our Go-to-Market practice across the UK and Europe, we're looking for a driven consultant to join the team and help build something genuinely great.
This is a role for someone who takes their craft seriously. Someone who understands that great recruitment isn't just about filling roles — it's about building relationships, earning trust, and consistently delivering for the clients and candidates who count on you.
Who We Are
At Certus, our values aren't a line on a website — they're how we show up every day. Passion, Energy, Commitment, Integrity, and Fun aren't aspirational words for us; they're the standard we hold ourselves to and the culture we've built over 25 years.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just tick those boxes on paper, but who genuinely lives and breathes them — because that's exactly what we do.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across GTM roles — Sales, Marketing, SDR, CS, RevOps and beyond
- Build and develop your own client relationships while supporting the wider team's business development efforts
- Deliver consistently across all aspects of the desk — resourcing, candidate engagement, business development, planning, and pipeline management
- Develop a deep understanding of the UK and European SaaS, AI, and tech landscape and the GTM talent within it
- Take ownership of your outcomes and hold yourself to a high standard — every day, not just when it suits
- Contribute to a team culture where everyone pulls their weight and genuinely enjoys the work

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For
We're open on background. You might be an experienced GTM recruiter who's ready for a better platform and a stronger team around you. Or you might be a proven recruiter from another specialism — finance, legal, marketing, professional services — who's passionate about making the move into the GTM and tech space. What matters most is your attitude, your work ethic, and your commitment to doing recruitment properly.
You care about outcomes, not inputs. You don't need to be told to fill your pipeline, follow up with candidates, or stay organised — you do it because you understand that great recruitment only works when all the parts are working together, all the time.
- At least 2+ years' experience in a professional recruitment role
- GTM or tech recruitment experience is a bonus, not a requirement — passion for the space is what counts
- Strong organisational skills and a genuine understanding of what a well-run desk looks like
- A track record of delivering for clients and candidates, not just hitting activity metrics
- Commercially minded, self-motivated, and hungry to grow
- Someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and raises the bar around them
