About our client
Our client is a well-established, highly regarded management consultancy with a strong technology and digital advisory practice, working across finance, transport, public services, health and life sciences, and consumer and manufacturing. They offer a genuine dual remit for senior hires: winning advisory work and shaping its delivery, rather than boxing people into one or the other. They are scaling their experienced-hires team at pace, bringing in several leaders at this level through 2026, supported by a fast, well-run assessment process.
What you'll be doing as a Consulting Director
- Winning new business, building pipeline and closing advisory engagements against a personal revenue target.
- Shaping credible, sellable solutions, drawing on your engineering or solution architecture background.
- Leading client relationships from first conversation through to delivery, as a trusted senior advisor.
- Selling across sectors, anchored in your dominant go-to-market with flexibility into adjacent industries.
- Staying close to delivery on large, complex engagements alongside your commercial remit.
- Contributing to practice growth, helping build propositions and capability across the team.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
