Role: Consulting Director - Healthcare Technology, Cloud & AI

Location: London or Manchester

Package: £120,000 Base + Performance Bonus

Focus: Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Modern Workplace (M365/Copilot) & Applied AI

Are you an enterprise technology leader with an appetite for shaping practical digital innovation across complex healthcare systems?

We are recruiting a Consulting Director (Technology Leader / CTO) for a high-growth healthcare management consultancy. This role combines senior client advisory, solution architecture, and commercial leadership to help healthcare providers build modern, secure, and AI-enabled digital foundations.

The Opportunity

Sitting on the senior leadership team, you will establish the technical vision for the consultancy, driving both advisory roadmaps and implementation work packages:

  • Enterprise Solution Design: Translate complex client operational problems into practical technical architectures across hybrid cloud, enterprise networks, and secure digital workplaces.
  • Applied Innovation & AI: Develop repeatable client offerings around Microsoft 365, Copilot, intelligent automation, and applied clinical/operational AI.
  • Commercial Growth & Thought Leadership: Support business development, author market insights, and represent the consultancy at industry forums and client boardrooms.
  • Cross-Practice Integration: Collaborate with Digital Estate and Clinical Applications practices to deliver integrated digital hospital architectures.

Who Fits Best?

  • Technical Breadth: Strong background across enterprise architecture, modern cloud migration, infrastructure resilience, and modern Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Consulting / Vendor Heritage: Background within major systems integrators, technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft ecosystem partners, Atos), or boutique digital consultancies. Prior NHS experience is a bonus, but commercial consulting acumen and client-facing credibility are the primary drivers.
  • Stepping-Up Profile: Ideal for a Principal Architect or Director ready to step up into an enterprise-wide Consulting Director / CTO post.
