Position: Consulting Engineer

Locations: Birmingham

Start Date: November 2026

Weekly Structure

  • 2 Office Days based out of our Birmingham office
  • 3 Field Days, with travel expected throughout UK and Ireland depending on business needs

Job Specification:

  • Collaborate with Sales Team to qualify customer requirements and create technical proposals.
  • Provide technical consultancy to customers pre and post sales including demonstrations, proofs of concept and pilot projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical enquiries and, where necessary, lead onsite support and handover to internal teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and strong relationships by technical approach.
  • Support new business activities including customer research, outreach and qualifying leads in collaboration with sales colleagues.
  • Testing difficult application with Sales Engineer and prepare client proposals, presentations and training tailored to customer needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in any discipline (preferably STEM based)
  • A problem solver with technical know how
  • Programming/Automation (Vision Experience) preferable but not essential
  • Some experience in teaching/training/ public speaking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
