About Cognizant Consulting

Cognizant Consulting is more than Cognizant's consulting practice. We are a global community of 5,000+ experts dedicated to helping clients reimagine their business. Blending deep industry knowledge with technology advisory capabilities, we create innovative business solutions for Fortune 500 clients. Now, we are looking for our next colleague to help shape the future of business. Could it be you?

About The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will make an impact by validating and completing the solution architecture for the Online Crime Centre programme. You will turn discovery outputs into verified high-level and low-level designs, support alpha delivery, and establish a robust architectural foundation for beta. You will work collaboratively with programme stakeholders, architecture communities, development and DevOps teams, and client governance forums.

In This Role, You Will

  • Validate, develop and complete high-level and low-level solution designs, building on discovery-phase outputs and aligning artefacts with programme tooling, governance and Home Office standards.
  • Identify and close gaps in discovery outputs by gathering information, facilitating workshops, assessing options and analysing technical documentation.
  • Guide architecture decisions through peer reviews, design forums and technical design authorities, recording key decisions and building stakeholder consensus.
  • Partner hands-on with alpha-phase development and DevOps teams to explain agreed architectures, incorporate delivery feedback and evolve designs as evidence emerges.
  • Shape requirements for future procurement and development activity, while identifying architecture risks, recommending mitigations and informing the technology strategy for later phases.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
