Summary
The role requires the individual to manage intermediate level tasks and associated deliverables. It requires the individual to provide output and input to external parties, clients and/or support the project leads with activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project and program management operations.
Whilst working alongside the wider project team that may comprise of the client, design team and other consultants and contractor, the role requires the individual to take responsibility for specific tasks and deliverables. They will be an ambassador for Bovis and safeguard its reputation and ensure the core values are incorporated in all they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Application of professional services, using established techniques, process and procedures acquired through both theoretical knowledge and industry experience. The individual must be able to demonstrate independent judgement within defined parameters, identifying solutions to issues that may require defining, with solutions being developed and implemented in both a planned and reactive environment.
- The individual will have practical industry experience aligned to their discipline and the sectors in which Bovis operates. They will have a track record of delivering project management services, managing technical services and utilising external resources as required for the project on an individual and team basis. They must communicate strategies to and communicate with the project team (client, design team and other consultants, and contractor) and all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project in line with expectations.
- Manage input and output in line with client expectations and agreed scopes of services to ensure variations and change are assessed both from a commercial and risk perspective.
- Produce design and client programmes to be integrated with procurement and/or delivery programmes. Manage the timely delivery to programme from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and the construction phase in accordance with the overall client delivery program and agreed project milestones. Assist with the timely sequencing / methodology and production of staging plans.

- The Project Manager (10-11) is responsible for providing project leadership and managing the overall execution of construction projects from initiation to completion. This encompasses creating a detailed project strategy, plan, and schedule, and driving the project delivery within that plan to maximize outcomes for the client and the business.
- The manager is accountable for the implementation and compliance with all company safety requirements across staff, contractors, and work practices, actively managing and mitigating project risks through comprehensive understanding and collaboration.
