The Impact You Will Have In This Role

The DTCC Consulting Services Director - Client Solutions & Growth will be accountable for unparalleled client service, developing relationships, driving sales and contributing to the growth strategy for the Consulting Services business. Consulting experience in managing senior client relationships, building delivery pipelines, developing service offerings and building successful teams is a must.

  • Develop existing and net-new client relationships to drive profitable business growth utilizing your existing network and go-to-market capabilities.
  • Support the Executive Director - Client Solutions & Growth with the development go-to-market strategy, account growth/planning and associated execution.
  • Present and engage at industry conferences, roundtables, and forums.
  • Represent DTCC Consulting both externally to the industry but also internally to other businesses.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and emerging client needs to ensure the business remains relevant, competitive, and strategically positioned.
  • Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and other key decision makers. Ability to communicate clearly, demonstrating gravitas and influencing key decisions.
  • Develop consulting service offerings to diversify and enhance existing capabilities.
  • Develop and lead in go-to-market and business development efforts including the preparation and delivery of proposals for prospective clients.
  • Mentor and guide other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with consulting operations and other internal teams to ensure processes and procedures are followed.
  • Champion inclusion by creating an inclusive environment and leading diversity initiatives.
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years of related consulting business development experience in the post trade space required.

Talents Needed For Success

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience, which can be a combination of financial services and consulting but must include at least 5 years of consulting business development experience at a Senior Manager or director level.
  • Capital Markets Post Trade experience required.
  • Experience managing relationships and generating pipeline from executive and business leadership buying points.
  • Ability to demonstrate direct involvement and contribution to business growth.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and an understanding of consulting delivery engagements with ability to build credibility for our services. Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and projects.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to generate follow-on work during client engagements by understanding a range of services and offerings and coordinating with personnel within DTCC to help sell integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Resiliency and the professional bearing required of a DTCC client service professional.
  • Ability to travel as required.
