Marketing Lead – Consumer Products (Spain) 📍 London, UK (Hybrid) ✈️ Regular Travel to Spain Required 📅 12-Month Contract 💰 Competitive Day Rate (DOE)
We’re looking for an experienced Consumer Products Marketing Specialist to join a leading global entertainment business on an initial 12-month contract.
The Role
The position is approximately 60–70% retail marketing and 30–40% licensee marketing, combining strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute 360° Consumer Products and retail marketing campaigns across Spain.
- Partner with licensees to activate marketing plans around key franchises and product launches.
- Develop campaigns with major Spanish retailers across mass, specialty and e-commerce channels.
- Deliver integrated activity across in-store, digital, social, influencer, PR, experiential and e-commerce.
- Manage retail marketing budgets and campaign performance.
- Partner with agencies and creative teams to develop standout concepts and assets.
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Social, PR, Publicity, Events and international teams.
- Manage multiple campaigns and workstreams within a fast-paced global environment.

About You
- 8+ years’ marketing experience, ideally across Consumer Products, Licensing, Retail and/or Entertainment.
- Strong consumer products licensing experience, gained on either the licensor or licensee side.
- Experience working with licensed brands, entertainment IP or franchise-led consumer products.
- Strong, current knowledge of the Spanish licensing and retail landscape.
- Previous experience living and working in Spain is highly desirable.
- Broad experience across retail, digital, social, influencer, experiential and PR marketing.
- Strong creative judgement with excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English are essential.
- Comfortable with regular travel to Madrid.
