Consumer Pricing Lead
Job purpose
At the regional/market level, following HQ guidelines, the successful candidate will lead Pricing for all Consumer and Commercial products. This role ensures alignment between the go-to-market strategy and operational execution, enabling seamless communication and effective decision-making to drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
This role reports directly to the Sales Operations Manager with a functional reporting line to HQ Pricing, while operationally will work fostering strong relationships with regional Sales Leaders to understand market dynamics, incorporate regional insights into the decision-making process, and create actionable plans to drive sales performance.
The successful candidate will improve efficiency and streamline operations in coordination with HQ through standardization, simplification, and leveraging digital transformation, keeping a high focus on customer centricity.
Main responsibilities
In alignment with HQ guidelines and strategic priorities while collaborating with Sales Leaders and key stakeholders, ensuring integration with Go-To-Market (GTM) plans.
Pricing Execution & Tactics
- Lead the execution of pricing strategy/tactics granting consistent and effective pricing governance across all countries and products following Authority Schedule. Be the window of HQ Pricing Team. In particular:
- HQ strategy and policies application in local markets.
- Translate central guidelines into local strategy and priorities.
- Propose pricing actions / tactics in alignment with HQ.
- Enable Sales team execution.
- Prepare price lists and manage pricing communication.
- Enhance pricing processes to improve monitoring and execution.
- Ensure Premium Strategy alignment in local condition / actions.

Cross Functional Pricing
- Develop cross functional pricing in full alignment with GTM granting proper:
- Channel balance.
- Spread by customers.
- Alignment with trade marketing programs.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare OB/MBP/Financial forecast by net sales. B4P input management.
- Attend all relevant governance meetings and support preparation.
- Support SPBR preparations / other governance meetings.
Pricing Monitoring & Intelligence
- Monitor main variance vs OB/PY to grant profitability:
- Price variance, gross profit.
- Units/Mix.
- Other price monitoring ad hoc.
Enhance Customer Centricity & Intelligence in line with company’s policies and compliance:
- Focusing on Gemba visits / Sales feedbacks.
- Product insights / collaboration to enhance premium strategy (value-based pricing approach).
- Automotive market trends / OE to support pricing strategy / tactics.
Sales Enablement
- Maintain close contact with the Sales teams, ensure continuous market feedback, explain the guidelines, and provide operational tools and presentations to effectively activate and support the Sales force.
- Ensure regional coordination and execute company’s priorities incorporating local market insight into overall sales GTM plans to ensure customer centricity and market needs.

Operational Excellence
- Support proactively pricing tool implementation, to streamline process while granting proper market insights. Ensure proper training and full alignment with local Sales teams.
- Support centrally developed BI tools focused on pricing at HQ level to enhance decision-making.
- Drive process improvements to establish lean and streamlined operations, fostering collaboration with HQ to support standardization.
- Contribute to the continuous harmonization of pricing processes, governance, and tools across Europe in close cooperation with HQ Pricing.
Grow & Empower the Team
- Strengthen the organization by sharing Bridgestone's compelling vision and promoting its cultural beliefs. Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, leading by example, and advancing sustainability initiatives. Serve as a coach and mentor.
- Ensure business continuity through effective backup and succession planning. Encourage innovation, best practice sharing, and job rotations.
- Act as an active member of the European pricing community, ensuring regular collaboration, alignment, and best practice sharing with other regional Pricing Leads.
- Uphold compliance and ensure adherence to the latest policies and standards.
