We’re recruiting for an experienced Consumer Products / Retail Marketing Specialist to join a high profile media/TV Consumer Products team in London.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on marketer to work across some of my clients biggest entertainment properties, creating standout retail campaigns and experiences with leading UK retailers.
The role has a strong retail and trade marketing focus. You’ll work across partners including major mass, specialty and premium retailers, helping bring my clients titles to life through everything from in-store activations and product launches to digital, social and influencer campaigns.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and delivering retail and licensee marketing campaigns supporting key titles and franchises
- Creating immersive retail activations and experiences across major UK retail partners
- Managing campaigns across iconic UK retail brands
- Working closely with licensees to integrate their activity into larger retail initiatives
- Defining the right marketing and media mix across in-store, digital, social commerce, influencer, SEO, display and sponsored product activity
- Partnering with retailers, licensees, agencies and internal commercial, product, creative and global teams
- Using consumer and retail trends to develop innovative but commercially executable campaigns
- Managing creative and production agencies from concept through to execution
- Managing multiple campaigns, timelines and budgets simultaneously
- Supporting occasional activity with European retail partners, including potential travel to markets such as France and Germany

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A studio/entertainment background would be advantageous, but we’re also very open to candidates coming from retailers, consumer brands, licensing businesses or relevant creative/production agencies.
This would particularly suit someone who loves the intersection of entertainment, culture, retail and consumer products and wants to create campaigns that consumers can physically experience and engage with.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
