Location: London or Manchester (with requirement for flexibility for global assignments) Division: Capgemini Invent Organization: Consumer Products and Retail

At Capgemini Invent, we believe that difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend strategic thinking, scientific insights, and creative problem-solving to deliver meaningful solutions for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the Consumer Products and Retail (CPR) sector by working on large-scale transformation programmes, leveraging technology and AI, while fostering innovation within one of the world’s leading CPR organisations.

About the Role

Our CPR team is growing rapidly due to increased demand for consultancy services across Consumer Products and Retail. We collaborate with leading organisations—including major UK household names in apparel, grocery, household and personal care, health, and beauty—to address growth challenges, end-to-end value chain transformations, large-scale technology implementation, supply chain optimisation, and operational excellence.

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

  • Work closely with senior client stakeholders to design and execute high-impact transformation programmes.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with existing clients and grow the client base through proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Drive thought leadership in emerging trends, including the role of AI and emerging technologies in reshaping the sector.
  • Leverage your expertise to inspire clients and teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following key activities:

Strategic & Project Leadership

  • Lead strategy and transformation projects for leading Consumer Products and Retail brands.
  • Manipulate high-autonomy workstreams with increasing responsibility while mentoring junior consultants and driving team development.
  • Develop end-to-end strategies to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain high-trust client relationships—balancing loyalty with new business development.
  • Proactively engage with potential leads through internal and external networks, contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, pitches, and client engagements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
