Our client, a global top-10 sovereign wealth fund, is looking to hire a Senior Associate into its Consumer & Retail Investments team, based in the Middle East.
The role sits at the intersection of investment analysis, execution, and portfolio management, supporting senior management while taking ownership of key workstreams across global Consumer & Retail transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, research, and evaluate investment opportunities across Consumer & Retail subsectors
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment decision materials
- Support execution of both private and public market transactions, including negotiated deals and selective public investments
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout the execution process
- Prepare investment committee papers, presentations, and supporting analysis for senior leadership review
- Support post-investment portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking, risk assessment, and quarterly reporting
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and ongoing investment recommendations

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in a top-tier investment bank, advisory firm, or leading private equity platform
- Strong background in M&A or principal investing, ideally with exposure to Consumer & Retail transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA or CFA a plus)
