Lead the team that turns enquiries into customers!
Our contact centre is where most customers meet Ready Steady Store for the first time, and where they decide whether to stay. Every call is a chance to earn their trust, make a sale or keep a customer. We're one of the UK's top ten self-storage operators. We have 24 sites across the country, three more opening this year and a growing number of contracts to manage sites for other owners. The contact centre handles all our reservations, customer service and outbound sales from one base in Worsley. It's small enough for one person to see the whole picture, and busy enough that the picture changes every day.
The role
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead a team of Senior Agents and around 14 advisors. Most of your time will be on the floor: listening to calls, running coaching sessions, using our AI call analytics to decide what to work on, and making sure the right calls reach the right customers at the right time. The strategy is set, and your job is to make it happen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
