About the Role
As a Contact Lens Optician, you will be part of the Specsavers team, providing excellent service to millions of people who come to us for lenses and advice. With one in three UK contact lens wearers relying on us, your role is crucial in ensuring everyone gets the right lenses at an affordable price.
Specsavers in Chelmsford, a social beacon of Essex, and sister store Springfield are looking for a forward-thinking, dynamic, and clinically focused Contact Lens Optician. Our experienced team uses the latest clinical technology to improve patient outcomes. The Role in a Nutshell
- Carry out contact lens fitting and aftercare in accordance with Company procedures and professional guidelines
- Deal with general enquiries and advise customers on contact lenses
- Ensure that all customers have a clear understanding of the contact lens options for their prescription. Advise customers on spectacle dispensing options, including current promotions
- Ensure that appointment times are efficiently managed and that customer waiting time is minimized
- Provide insertion/removal instruction to patients as required
