Container Freight Forwarding Coordinator (Import & Export)

TGL Global Logistics UK Ltd is a growing international freight forwarding company connecting the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Egypt, Europe and global markets.

We provide reliable, efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions through our global network, specialising in Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, Customs Clearance, Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Container Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our London team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate FCL and LCL import and export shipments.
  • Arrange bookings with shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents.
  • Prepare shipping instructions and transport documentation.
  • Monitor shipments from origin to final delivery.
  • Coordinate customs clearance processes.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, carriers and overseas partners.
  • Resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all shipments are handled accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records within company systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Freight Forwarding or International Logistics.
  • Good knowledge of Ocean Freight operations (FCL & LCL).
  • Understanding of Import & Export procedures.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Experience with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software is an advantage.
