Why This Role Matters
You'll help pharmaceutical manufacturers reduce contamination risk, strengthen environmental controls, and maintain safe, compliant sterile manufacturing environments.
The Role
You'll provide contamination control and Environmental Monitoring expertise across client projects, combining microbiology and/or chemistry knowledge with practical experience of sterile manufacturing and hygienic design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and optimise Environmental Monitoring (EM) programmes, including monitoring locations, frequencies, limits, data trending, and investigation of excursions.
- Support contamination control strategies and risk assessments across sterile manufacturing facilities, helping identify practical improvements and close compliance gaps.
- Provide technical input into hygienic and cleanroom design, contamination investigations, and related documentation while working with multidisciplinary client teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong contamination control expertise within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, with relevant microbiology and/or chemistry experience.
- Hands-on experience developing or optimising Environmental Monitoring programmes within sterile manufacturing environments.
- Practical knowledge of hygienic design and contamination risk reduction within GMP-regulated facilities.
