Content & Marketing Executive
We’re looking for a Content & Marketing Executive to join our team just outside Canterbury. It’s a hybrid working role with a focus on helping us deliver outstanding brand marketing to meet our client’s varying but defined goals.
You’ll be joining a busy agency with a wide variety of clients and high-quality brand, marketing and digital projects.
We’re looking for a committed and ambitious individual with the desire to learn, develop and advance. This role is entry-level and designed for those starting out in marketing to get hands-on experience in the industry, with an idea to grow the role further with experience.
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Role Overview
We are searching for an organised, creative and proactive addition to our close-knit team to support the delivery of client marketing projects and campaigns.
Working closely with the Account Director, the Junior Content and Marketing Executive will help manage day-to-day client activity, create engaging content across digital channels and take responsibility for delivering defined marketing projects from brief through to completion.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who combines strong writing and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage deadlines and keep projects moving.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Support the Account Director with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Help coordinate and schedule client projects, campaigns, meetings and agreed actions.
- Prepare agendas, meeting notes, project updates and status reports.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues, suppliers and delivery partners.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the expected standard.
- Identify outstanding actions, potential issues and opportunities for additional client support.
Content Creation
- Research and write content for websites, landing pages, articles, case studies, email campaigns and marketing materials.
- Help schedule creative diaries for designers and organise workflow.
- Create and schedule content for LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms.
- Provide support for content plans and editorial calendars.
- Adapt messaging for different audiences, sectors and communication channels.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Work with designers, developers and other specialists to bring content and campaigns to life.
- Monitor content performance and contribute ideas for improving engagement and results.

Project Management
- Manage defined marketing projects from initial brief through to delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams, freelancers and suppliers.
- Ensure briefs are clear, complete and understood by everyone involved.
- Track progress, manage feedback and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Flag risks, delays or changes in scope to the Account Director at the earliest opportunity.
- Carry out final quality checks before work is presented or published.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written English, with strong copywriting, proofreading and editing skills.
- Experience creating content for websites, LinkedIn and other digital channels.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confident and professional communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team.
- A practical understanding of marketing, branding, digital communications and social media.
- Experience using content management systems, social scheduling platforms and project management tools would be beneficial.
- Agency or client account management experience would be advantageous.
- A degree in marketing, communications, PR or a similar discipline is ideal but not essential.
