Content and Marketing Executive

Full-time, Permanent

GFD Trading Ltd | Stockton-on-Tees (Office-based)

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Great marketing is about more than selling products. It’s about understanding customers, telling compelling stories, and creating connections that drive action.

At GFD Trading Ltd, you’ll be part of that process. Established 18 years ago, we are a growing retailer in the home improvement sector, with several successful online brands operating across the UK in both the B2C and B2B spaces.

We’re looking for a Content and Marketing Executive to create engaging content and support campaigns across our brands, reaching homeowners, trade professionals, and businesses through a variety of marketing channels.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing skills. Whether you’re a recent graduate, have experience in a similar role, or have taken another route into marketing, we’re looking for someone with strong writing skills, a good eye for visual content, and the enthusiasm to learn.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
