Job Description
Our customers mean everything to us, and customer obsession stays at the core of everything we do. Content & Optimisation owns the onsite experience across our 12 markets, delivering and optimising homepage, campaign and trading content that is relevant, localised and commercially effective. We shape content around customer mindsets and local trends, connecting with our audience through rich editorial and creative content that positions ASOS as a global fashion destination.
As part of the team, you'll use data, experimentation and personalisation to optimise the onsite experience and improve customer journeys, driving measurable business impact. You'll stay ahead of our customers' ever-changing interests and tastes in every market, balancing a consistent global experience with local relevance.
The Details
- Lead Testing and Experimentation Strategy: Develop and drive the experimentation roadmap for Commercial and Trade homepage priorities, prioritising by market opportunity. Partner closely with Digital Product to lead end-to-end A/B, segmentation and personalisation tests, scaling winners across markets to optimise the onsite experience and drive measurable business impact.
- Lead Homepage Content Delivery: Work with Digital Trade and Marketing Delivery teams to streamline homepage, campaign and trading content across all markets, balancing day-to-day delivery and reactive changes with continuous process improvement.
- Support Global Content Strategy: Develop homepage experience strategies for projects and campaigns in the Global Marketing Channel plans, ensuring content is relevant, localised and commercially effective, and aligned to ASOS's global business objectives and each market's key seasonal moments.
- Customer Mindset: Balance social-native content experiences and behaviours with customer expectations of a retail platform, understanding how these differ by market.
- Enhance Customer Journeys: Partner with Digital Trading and Digital Product to optimise customer journeys from homepage content, using the performance of linked curated categories and pop pages to inform decisions.
- Benchmark Reporting: Be a super-user of Adobe, working with the team on weekly homepage benchmark reports to spot market-level trends, share learnings and recommend onsite optimisations.
- Team Management: Lead Content and Optimisation Specialists, setting personalised objectives and supporting their development through one-to-ones, training and knowledge sharing, in an environment that promotes continuous learning.
- Build Cross-Functional Relationships: Work closely with Trade, Commercial, Digital Product, Marketing and Creative, building strong relationships across global and local teams so activity stays aligned to business objectives.

Qualifications
About You
- Proven experience building and delivering experimentation roadmaps, working closely with Digital Product teams, with a solid understanding of tech and product development.
- Natural leader and strategic thinker with experience in an online ecommerce business and CMS systems (e.g. Sitecore).
- Marketing experience, particularly in own channel marketing.
- Experience working in a global business, managing content across multiple markets, languages and time zones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confident stakeholder management.
- Data and insight driven, using Adobe and Mixpanel to turn performance into recommendations.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment and works confidently both independently and collaboratively.
