We’re hiring: Content and Programme Director at WXO.
Most content roles begin with a channel: What should we publish on LinkedIn? What should go in the newsletter?
This role begins with a more important question:
What do experience professionals need to know, who do they need to know – and how can WXO be as useful to them as possible?
The Content and Programme Director will identify the questions that matter, then turn the answers into reports, briefings, frameworks, articles, videos, websites and live programmes.
They’ll own:
- Experience Briefings and the State of the Experience Economy
- WXO’s websites, including the development of what comes next
- London Experience Week’s content programme and other events, including our Campfires
- The WXO Awards
- The intellectual content of future courses, standards, credentials and professional products

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a senior, hands-on role.
We need someone who can set the editorial direction – and then research, write, edit, interview, publish and programme. Someone who can move comfortably between shaping an important new framework and fixing a running order before an event goes live.
We also need someone who thinks like a product person: understand our members / users / the wider experience industry, then identify the challenges, form a hypothesis and find the smallest useful way to test it. Ship quickly, examine the evidence, and decide whether to stop, change or scale.
The goal is not simply to produce more content. It is to help WXO’s best ideas travel, become useful and establish authority for the organization and the profession.
