Content & Social Media Executive

£28,000–£32,000 DOE | Full-time | Hessle, East Yorkshire

We don’t need someone to manage our social media.

We need someone to make people notice it.

Enablement Group is growing, and we’re looking for a creative, commercially-minded Content & Social Media Executive to take ownership of our content and help take our brand to the next level.

We’re an ambitious people-services business providing HR & Employment Law, Fractional HR, Recruitment, Payroll and Learning & Development services to businesses across the UK.

But here’s the thing…

Professional services content doesn’t have to be boring.

We want to build a brand people recognise, remember and actually want to follow.

That’s where you come in.

The Role

This is a hands-on content role with video at its heart.

You’ll take ownership of our social presence across TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, working directly with our Directors, consultants and wider team to find, create and publish content that gets attention.

You’ll be given the freedom to experiment, test ideas and tell us when you think we should be doing something differently.

We don’t want someone waiting for a monthly content brief.

We want you bringing the ideas.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning our social media content across TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Filming and editing engaging short-form video, particularly TikToks and Reels
  • Creating a consistent flow of entertaining, educational and personality-led content
  • Spotting trends, sounds and formats we can react to quickly
  • Writing strong hooks, captions, scripts and social copy
  • Getting our Directors and team involved in content – whether they’re ready for it or not!
  • Building the personal brands of our Directors and consultants
  • Turning HR, employment law and business topics into content people actually want to consume
  • Capturing behind-the-scenes content from the office, client visits, networking and events
  • Developing content campaigns that showcase our services and client partnerships
  • Managing our content calendar and publishing schedule
  • Tracking reach, engagement, watch time, follower growth and enquiries
  • Using performance data to understand what’s working and create more of it
  • Supporting wider brand, website, campaign and marketing activity where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience in HR or professional services isn’t essential.

We can teach you our industry.

We’re looking for someone who already understands content.

What Success Looks Like

We want you to make a visible impact.

That means:

  • Growing our TikTok and Instagram audiences
  • Increasing reach and engagement across our channels
  • Creating content that people share, save and talk about
  • Developing strong personal brands for our Directors and consultants
  • Making Enablement Group more recognisable within our target markets

  • Turning attention into conversations, enquiries and ultimately new business

What You’ll Get

£28,000–£32,000 salary depending on experience

More importantly, you’ll get genuine ownership.

You’ll work directly with the Directors of the business and have the freedom to shape how Enablement Group shows up online.

We want ideas.

We want experimentation.

We want personality.

And we want someone ambitious who can look back in 12 months and say:

“I built that.”

Want to Stand Out?

Don’t just tell us you’re creative.

Show us.

Send us examples of content you’ve created, accounts you’ve worked on or a portfolio if you have one.

And tell us:

If you started at Enablement Group tomorrow, what’s the first piece of content you’d create?

We can’t wait to see what you’ve got.
