Role/Team overview

CBP is responsible for strategy, delivery, support, software development and project management for the end-to-end engineering for producing live sports content, delivering TV channels and proven video on demand services including all backend management systems. We are responsible for Production, Channel Origination, Distribution, Content Supply Chain, Cloud and SRE for our internal stakeholders at Sky across UK, ROI, Germany, Austria and Italy. Our stakeholders include Sky Sports, Sky News, Entertainment, Sky Creative, Q, Now and Glass.

As a CBP Delivery Manager, you will be required to help deliver and promote the Domain strategy for continuous delivery and improvement of production workflows and systems

This role will help establish a product culture and mindset as well as driving implementation of new practices to ultimately improve efficiencies across our offerings.

You will assist with cost & capacity tracking across multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate accountability within the delivery teams, ensuring rate cards follow delivery templates to take products to market more efficiently

This Role reports to the Head of Delivery within Strategy, Product and Delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure Domain delivery transparency - Ensure that roadmaps, dependencies and progress are fully understood and communicated across the organisation updating all stakeholders on upcoming feature releases
  • Drive data-driven delivery - Define and track meaningful KPIs across performance, cost, and team capacity, using insights to help identify areas of improvement for capabilities and upcoming risks
  • Technical Delivery Accountability – ensure the timely delivery, and reporting of new features, improvements and bug fixes, by aligning delivery resources across multiple teams within the organisation
  • Embed governance and cost accountability – Track and align delivery costs, including supplier orders, internal recharge, and resource overheads on a feature basis to identify opportunities for performance improvements and optimisations within our ecosystems and ensure continuous policy alignment
  • Engage and influence stakeholders - Advise Stakeholder and leadership teams on delivery status, timelines and impediments on a proposition basis to ensure the Product Lead and business stakeholders can choose the propositions based on value
  • Partner across teams - Work closely with the Domain Product Leads, collaborating on prioritisation of Product roadmaps & known dependencies, supporting the further establishment of a culture of product & value driven delivery across CT&I
  • Challenge the status quo – strive to unlock new value and increase the flow of delivery across organisation, promoting team successes and challenge things that could have been done better.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience delivering products and projects within large enterprise environments, using Agile and project management methodologies.
  • Strong product mindset with extensive knowledge of the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle, processes, and artefacts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence both technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated success in business case development, value realisation, continuous improvement, and KPI-driven delivery outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of content delivery operations and technical workflows, combined with a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of new technologies.

Preferred skills

  • Exposure to both On-Premise and Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) based infrastructure environments and deployment patterns
  • A keen Interest in sports production and live content delivery

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week.

Your office base

Osterley
