About The Job

Role: Content & Communications Specialist

Location: 5 days a week (Office) - London, White City

As a Content & Communications Specialist at Flatpay, you will be responsible for adapting and translating product and marketing materials for the UK market. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our messaging is both linguistically and culturally relevant while maintaining brand consistency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and language-savvy professional who can balance precise translation with creative localisation to craft engaging marketing communication.

What You'll Do

  • Translate and localise marketing materials, including website and advert content, emails, sales brochures, and product communications.
  • Ensure a consistent and professional tone of voice across all UK marketing channels.
  • Proofread and refine translations, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and cultural alignment.
  • Adapt global campaigns and content for the UK market in collaboration with the product and marketing teams.
  • Optimise product communication based on local customer insights and market analysis.
  • Engage with the UK community across Meta Ads, Trustpilot, and Google platforms, ensuring a positive and consistent representation of Flatpay’s brand.
  • Contribute to UK product development by sharing insights gathered from close collaboration with merchants and internal teams.

Skills & Background:

  • Native-level proficiency in English and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in translation, localisation, or content marketing, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of commercial communication with the ability to simplify complex messages.
  • Familiarity with translation tools and CMS platforms is a plus.
