Content & Communications Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)
Mission Aviation Fellowship is an international Christian organisation whose purpose is to fly light aircraft, and use other technologies, to bring help and hope to people in some of the world’s poorest communities.
We are looking for a Content & Communications Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) to strengthen our global Communications team.
You will support programme-based Communications Officers and fundraising teams, co-ordinate internal communications and social channels, maintain our media asset library, and help coordinate marketing and change communications — all while upholding MAF’s ethical storytelling and data protection standards.
Location: Cairns / Ashford
Start date: to be arranged dependent on flexible
Salary: Up to £30,700 per annum (Depending on experience)

Working closely with the Heads of Communications and Regional Communications Managers, you will help meet the needs of programme and fundraising teams and prepare internal updates.
- You will coordinate and schedule content across MAF International’s social media channels, and produce and adapt branded communications materials and Resource Packs for field and support-office use.
- Maintaining and improving the media library is an important part of the role you will upload, tag and archive assets, advise users on selection and metadata, and support teams in transferring media from the field.
- You will support the Integration Programme through change-management communications, video editing and development of internal comms platforms.
- You will help marketing and fundraising by tracking story submissions.
- The Communications inbox and intranet pages for Communications and Prayer will be kept up to date, and you will help organise and participate in team meetings and conferences. As a member of the Prayer Team you will plan International Days of Prayer, gather and distribute prayer resources, and organise Day of Prayer events.

Content & Communications Co-ordinator Job Profile
- Commitment to MAF’s values and mission, with an empathetic approach to storytelling that protects dignity and privacy.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in metadata and content tagging.
- Practical experience with social media scheduling tools and digital asset management systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to edit for clarity and audience.
- Collaborative team player who can prioritise and support multiple stakeholders.
- Awareness of data protection and ethical guidelines relating to media use.
