Are you a creative content creator with a passion for sport, fitness and digital storytelling?

Surrey Sports Park and Team Surrey are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Content & Communications Executive to join our growing Marketing & Communications team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the voice of one of the UK's leading university sports programmes and community sports facilities. You'll be at the heart of creating engaging content that inspires participation, celebrates achievement and brings our brands to life across multiple platforms.

From capturing behind-the-scenes moments at elite sporting fixtures and student events, to creating social media campaigns, filming video content and writing compelling stories, no two days will be the same.

The Role

Working closely with our Marketing & Communications Executives, you will support the creation and delivery of content across Surrey Sports Park and Team Surrey.

You will play a key role in producing engaging content for social media, websites, digital marketing campaigns, email communications and on-site promotions. You will also attend events, competitions, activations and campaigns to capture photography, video and live content that showcases the incredible experiences taking place across our facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Capturing photography and video across sport, fitness, events and campus activities.
  • Writing articles, social media posts, newsletters and promotional copy.
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications plans.
  • Scheduling and publishing content across digital channels.
  • Monitoring social media engagement and audience interaction.
  • Helping maintain brand consistency across Surrey Sports Park and Team Surrey communications.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is creative, organised and full of ideas, with a passion for creating engaging digital content.

You'll have excellent written and verbal communication, with strong copywriting, storytelling and social media content creation skills. Experienced in photography and video capture and editing, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Confident in understanding current social media trends and best practice, with a genuine interest in sport, active wellbeing, fitness and community engagement.

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website content management systems or video editing software would be advantageous.
