About ENERGYbubble

ENERGYbubble is a fast-growing UK energy consultancy working with businesses across manufacturing, retail, hospitality, healthcare and other energy-intensive industries.

We are looking for a creative, confident and highly organised Content & Communications Executive to take ownership of our video content, social media, PR and CEO personal brand.

This is a hands-on role combining filming, editing, presenting, content creation, social media and PR. We are not looking for someone who simply briefs agencies. You should be equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of it.

The Role

You will take ownership of ENERGYbubble’s day-to-day content production and communications.

A major part of the role will involve planning, filming, editing and publishing professional video content, including:

  • Customer case studies
  • Client interviews
  • CEO and leadership content
  • ENERGYbubble business updates
  • Energy-market news and commentary
  • Educational videos
  • Short-form social content
  • Office and team content
  • Website and marketing videos

You will also regularly appear in ENERGYbubble content yourself, presenting business updates, introducing case studies and explaining relevant market or industry developments.

Video Production

You will manage video production from concept through to publication, including:

  • Developing video ideas and formats
  • Planning shoots and preparing interview questions
  • Operating cameras, microphones and lighting equipment
  • Directing interviewees
  • Filming customer interviews and B-roll
  • Presenting content yourself
  • Editing long-form and short-form videos
  • Adding captions, graphics, music and branding
  • Creating platform-specific versions of content
  • Publishing finished content
  • Maintaining an organised library of footage

You should understand how to make people look and sound professional on camera and be confident taking responsibility for the full production process.

Client Case Studies

You will regularly travel to customer locations across the UK, including manufacturing facilities, retail sites, hospitality businesses and other commercial locations.

You will be responsible for turning customer success stories into professional case-study content by:

  • Understanding the customer story
  • Developing the narrative
  • Preparing interview questions
  • Coordinating the shoot
  • Interviewing customers
  • Capturing high-quality site footage
  • Editing the final case-study film
  • Producing shorter social-media versions
  • Turning the same story into written website and LinkedIn content

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You must therefore be confident dealing with customers, including business owners, Managing Directors and senior executives.

On-Camera Presenting

Being comfortable in front of the camera is an important part of the role.

We want to create regular ENERGYbubble video updates without always relying on the CEO or wider team to present them.

You may create videos covering:

  • ENERGYbubble company updates
  • Customer projects and case studies
  • Industry news
  • Energy-market developments
  • Regulatory changes
  • Events
  • Educational and explainer content

You do not need to be a trained presenter, but you should be well presented, articulate, confident and engaging, with strong spoken English and the ability to represent ENERGYbubble professionally.

Social Media & Digital Content

You will manage ENERGYbubble’s organic online presence, with LinkedIn currently being our primary social platform.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the content calendar
  • Creating and publishing LinkedIn posts
  • Producing regular video content
  • Identifying stories from around the business
  • Creating graphics and visual content
  • Writing website news and case-study articles
  • Repurposing longer content into shorter formats
  • Monitoring performance and improving content formats

The objective is to establish ENERGYbubble as a credible, knowledgeable and distinctive voice within the UK business energy market.

PR & Media

You will help ENERGYbubble become more proactive with the media.

You will:

  • Monitor relevant energy, manufacturing and business news
  • Identify opportunities for ENERGYbubble commentary
  • Prepare quotes and comments from the CEO and senior team
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Identify relevant journalists and publications
  • Build and maintain a journalist database
  • Pitch stories, case studies and commentary
  • Build relationships with media contacts

When relevant industry news breaks, we want somebody who can quickly identify an opportunity and get ENERGYbubble’s perspective in front of the right journalists.

CEO Personal Brand

You will work closely with the CEO to develop a strong and consistent personal brand.

This will include:

  • Developing content ideas
  • Filming CEO videos
  • Interviewing the CEO to extract ideas and opinions
  • Drafting LinkedIn posts
  • Producing founder-led educational and opinion content
  • Reacting to relevant industry developments
  • Editing and publishing content
  • Managing a consistent content schedule

The goal is to make content creation easy for the CEO by turning conversations, ideas and day-to-day business activity into polished content.

Who We’re Looking For

A strong portfolio and evidence of what you can produce are more important than a particular degree or career path.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong filming and video-editing ability
  • Experience using cameras, microphones and lighting equipment
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar
  • Confidence speaking and presenting on camera
  • A professional and engaging on-camera presence
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong copywriting ability
  • Strong visual judgement
  • An understanding of social-first video
  • Confidence interacting with customers and senior business people
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Initiative and willingness to suggest your own ideas
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK

Experience in photography, motion graphics, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PR, LinkedIn content, podcasting, B2B marketing or personal-brand development would be advantageous.

The Person

This role would suit someone creative, ambitious and naturally curious.

You should be the type of person who sees something interesting happening within the business and immediately thinks:

“There’s a piece of content in that.”

We want someone with personality who can comfortably walk into a customer facility, speak with the Managing Director, run a professional video shoot and represent ENERGYbubble well.

Just as importantly, you should then be able to return to the office, edit the footage, write the post and get the content published.

The ideal person combines creativity, confidence and organisation.

What Success Looks Like

Success in the role will mean:

  • A consistent stream of high-quality original video content
  • Regular presenter-led ENERGYbubble updates
  • Professional customer case-study videos
  • A significantly stronger LinkedIn presence
  • Regular CEO-led content
  • Increased media coverage
  • Stronger journalist relationships
  • A recognisable ENERGYbubble content style
  • A structured and consistent content calendar

Most importantly, we want someone who can turn the interesting things happening inside ENERGYbubble into content people actually want to watch, read and share.
