About Septem

Septem is a running brand built around one thing: Elevated performance, built for the long run. Our story started in marathon and long-distance running, elite performance, and developing high-performance running gear for elite athletes runners who are serious about going further and faster and wishing to Push Past Possible.

We’re now expanding into more international markets and looking for a Content Creation & Social Media Specialist to help tell the Septem story and build our presence across social media in the UK & EU.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for creating content that captures the world of Septem — from elite athletes and marathon training to product development, race day, training sessions and the everyday reality of long-distance running.

This is a hands-on creative role. We’re looking for someone who can concept, shoot, edit and publish compelling content, while understanding what makes people stop scrolling and engage. You’ll work closely with the wider Septem team to develop our visual identity, grow our community and create content that reflects the ambition and performance-led nature of the brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute Septem’s social media content strategy
  • Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Strava, and other relevant platforms
  • Film and edit short-form video, photography and social-first content
  • Create content around athletes, races, training, products and the wider running community
  • Develop creative concepts, campaigns and social series
  • Manage and maintain Septem’s social media channels and content calendar
  • Identify emerging trends, formats and opportunities within social media
  • Work with athletes, creators and members of the running community
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content from races, events, training sessions and product development
  • Monitor performance and use insights to continually improve content
  • Help establish Septem’s tone of voice and visual identity across social platforms

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A genuine passion for running is key. You don’t need to be an elite runner yourself — but you should understand the culture, the obsession with performance and what motivates people to run 5K, 10K, half marathons, marathons and beyond.

Why Septem?

This is an opportunity to join a growing performance running brand at a new exciting stage of its journey. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how Septem looks, sounds and feels online, work closely with athletes and the running community, and help build a brand from the ground up.

We’re not looking for someone to simply manage a content calendar. We’re looking for someone who loves the sport and wants to create.

If you’re a content creator, social media specialist, videographer, photographer or creative who lives and breathes digital — and you’re excited by the world of running — we’d love to hear from you.
