About the Role

The Content Creator sits within the Membership Services team and reports to the Digital Experience Manager. The role plays a vital part in bringing the Chamber's work to life, creating compelling content that showcases members, strengthens the Liverpool Chamber brand and demonstrates the value of membership.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, the role will support member engagement, commercial growth and the delivery of the Chamber's Marketing as a Service offer for Strategic Partners and Patrons.

About the Role

The Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that amplifies the Liverpool Chamber brand and tells the stories of its members, partners and wider business community.

Working closely with the Digital Experience Manager, the role will create campaigns and content that promote Chamber activity, support membership growth and deliver against the marketing commitments made to Strategic Partners and Patrons.

The post holder will work across a variety of channels, producing written, visual and video content that strengthens the Chamber's reputation, increases engagement, and showcases the impact of its work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation and Storytelling

  • Create engaging written, visual and video content for Liverpool Chamber's digital channels.
  • Produce member stories, case studies, interviews and success stories that demonstrate the value of Chamber membership.
  • Develop content that celebrates member achievements and showcases the impact of Chamber initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all communications.
  • Attend Chamber events to capture photography, video and live content where appropriate.

Campaign Delivery

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that promote Chamber events, services, programmes and initiatives.
  • Produce campaign assets for email marketing, social media, website and other digital platforms.
  • Support campaigns that drive membership growth, event attendance and commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.

Strategic Partner and Patron Delivery

  • Deliver the marketing activity included within Strategic Partner and Patron agreements.
  • Produce high-quality promotional content that supports partners' strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Digital Experience Manager and Account Manager to ensure agreed marketing activity is delivered effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to further showcase Strategic Partners and Patrons throughout the year.

Brand and Digital Presence

  • Champion the Liverpool Chamber brand across all digital channels.
  • Support the ongoing management of website content, ensuring information remains current, engaging and accurate.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and organisational priorities.
  • Help increase the visibility and reach of Liverpool Chamber through engaging and creative content.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Membership Services, Events, International Trade and other teams to identify engaging stories and campaign opportunities.
  • Monitor content performance and make recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Keep up to date with emerging content trends, digital platforms and best practice.
  • Contribute ideas that strengthen the Chamber's marketing activity and enhance the member experience.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant professional experience.
  • Experience creating engaging content across a range of digital platforms.
  • Experience writing for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Experience producing photography, video and graphic design content.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media best practice.
  • Ability to produce engaging visual and video content.
  • Experience using content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and video editing software.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 and web-based platforms.
