Content Creator

Contract Available: Fixed-Term Contract

Hours Available: 20 Hours per Week

Location: Lombard House, Belfast (with travel across NI required)

We're delighted to be recruiting a creative and passionate Content Creator to join the Climate Minds NI project, a pioneering partnership between Inspire Wellbeing and Live Here Love Here. Climate Minds NI explores the connection between climate action, mental wellbeing and community resilience, supporting communities across Northern Ireland to create positive change for both people and planet.

✨ About the Role

As our Content Creator, you'll help bring the story of Climate Minds NI to life. You'll create engaging and accessible content that inspires action, amplifies community voices and communicates the powerful links between climate action, wellbeing and social inclusion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented storyteller who enjoys working across multiple platforms and formats. Whether you're creating social media content, designing campaign materials, producing videos and podcasts, or developing digital resources, your work will help connect people with ideas, opportunities and communities that make a difference.

Working closely with project colleagues and partners, you'll play a key role in shaping communications that are inclusive, accessible and impactful.

🎥 What You'll Do

  • Create engaging content across social media, websites, newsletters, video, audio and print platforms.
  • Develop compelling stories that showcase the impact of Climate Minds NI and amplify community voices.
  • Support campaigns, events and engagement activities through creative and accessible communications.
  • Produce and adapt content for different audiences while ensuring brand consistency and accessibility standards are met.
  • Use analytics and audience insights to improve content performance and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and communities to deliver project communications and learning resources.

✅ Essential Criteria

1. Circumstances

  • A full current driving licence and access to a car with business insurance, or willing to obtain business insurance. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations.

2. Qualifications & Experience

  • A third level qualification in a relevant field for example; Marketing, Media Studies, or ICT. OR
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a similar content creation role.

3. Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrate strong photography and videography skills, including editing and production for online content.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Demonstrate good communication and collaboration skills with others to create content.
  • Demonstrate experience in using digital platforms including online content management systems (CMS) social media with ability to use and understand analytics.
  • Understanding of how climate action intersects with wider social, economic and health inequalities.
