Job Title: Contract Content Writer (Travel)

Serenity Holidays is a collection of specialist travel brands offering expertly curated holidays to unique destinations. Our brands focus on deep destination expertise, personalised service, and carefully crafted travel experiences that go beyond mainstream package holidays.

As part of an exciting digital transformation, we are launching new websites across our portfolio of travel brands. We are looking for a talented Contract Content Writer to help rebuild and enhance our website content, ensuring it reflects our expertise, inspires travellers, and supports strong SEO performance.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Content Writer to support a major website content redevelopment project and support core content generation where required across multiple Serenity Holidays brands.

Working closely with our marketing and digital teams, you will review existing website content and transform it into fresh, engaging, and well-structured copy suitable for our new websites. The focus will be on maintaining our expert tone of voice while improving clarity, structure, and search visibility.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structuring content, translating existing material into stronger web copy, and working within CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and audit existing website content across multiple Serenity Holidays brands
  • Rewrite and restructure content for new website builds
  • Create clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly web copy for destination, accommodation, and holiday experience pages
  • Ensure content reflects Serenity Holidays’ expertise, trust, and specialist positioning
  • Adapt tone of voice for different brands within the Serenity portfolio
  • Upload and format content within the CMS (WordPress preferred)
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and digital teams to ensure content accuracy
  • Maintain consistency across site structures, page templates, and navigation hierarchies
  • Support internal content guidelines and SEO best practices

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience writing content for websites
  • Strong ability to rewrite and improve existing content
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail
  • Experience working with a Content Management System (WordPress preferred)
  • Ability to structure content clearly for web usability and search performance
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines
  • AI literacy to support content generation
