Compensation: £32,000 - £37,000 / year
Description
The Content Creator produces original, audience-focused content that brings the UK Agri-Tech Centre’s work to life across internal and external digital channels. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role creates written, photographic, video and designed content for the website, newsletters, email campaigns and social media. Working closely with commercial and programme colleagues, the postholder identifies strong stories from farms, events, projects and business operations, then turns them into clear, useful content for agri-tech businesses, farmers, food producers, retailers, investors and other priority audiences. The role manages content from initial idea and capture through to editing, approval and publication, using mobile equipment and a wide range of content creation and design tools. Through timely, engaging and consistent content, the role will extend the Centre’s reach, increase engagement, direct potential customers towards relevant services and opportunities, and contribute to the growth of commercial income.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
