Content Creator

Up to £35k + company bonus scheme
Exeter, outskirts – onsite

Are you a creative marketer with a passion for visual content and branding, who enjoys getting stuck into projects and developing ideas that make an impact? Then this role could be for you...

Ark Recruitment are partnering with a leading veterinary organisation, with hubs across the UK, and are true specialists in the work they do. With more growth planned, particularly in their Northern Ireland region, they are looking to expand their marketing team with a true creative – someone on the upward curve of their career who brings energy and fresh ideas to the role.

The aim for this role is to elevate the brand, utilising current trends within video marketing and social media to drive audience engagement and strengthen their presence in the market.

The role

You'll take the lead on the more creative side of the marketing, working alongside the Marketing Manager and collaborating on ideas to agree what great content looks like. You'll then take ownership of bringing those ideas to life and seeing them through from concept to delivery.

This really is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, travelling across the country to capture video and photography, and playing an instrumental part in revolutionising the company's presence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage marketing projects from initial brief through to delivery.
  • Take the lead on creating engaging content including video, photography, social media and website copy, case studies, product information and media content.
  • Bring fresh thinking to how the brand is presented across different platforms, looking at new ways to engage and grow the audience.
  • Be proactive with content opportunities – if you can see a great chance to capture some photos, a case study or video for social media, then jump on it!
  • Work closely with the wider business, including the field-based veterinary team, always keeping an eye out for new opportunities to capture stories that highlight their invaluable experience and skill set.
  • Maintain consistency of tone, messaging and brand identity across all communication platforms.
  • Support on campaigns, events and product launches, recruitment marketing, as well as client and internal communications.

What we're looking for

  • Ideally 3-4 years' experience in a content-led marketing role.
  • Strong experience with video, photography and visual content creation.
  • Digital marketing basic skill set – we don't need you to be a whizz with website updates, but certainly strong with the fundamentals of digital channels and how to utilise them to achieve the best results.
  • Go-getting, proactive mindset. We're looking for someone who gets excited by an ideas-led role, not daunted by it.
  • Willingness to learn and continue to progress. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, who leads on strategy, so the desire to absorb everything they teach you and continue to elevate your skill set is a must.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
  • A background in agriculture would be a huge advantage, but not essential. However, an interest in this sector is important.
  • Not afraid to jump in the car, train or plane to capture the content and deliver projects.
