The role
You’ll become one of the recognisable faces of Mersey Raw online.
You’ll host our TikTok Shop lives, front videos, come up with ideas, film around the business and turn everyday moments into content people actually want to watch. One minute you might be filming Pluto eating breakfast. The next you could be on the production floor showing how our food is made, shooting with a creator or jumping on a trend that started two hours ago. We want someone who sees an opportunity and makes it happen.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Create and post 1-2 short-form videos every day across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Host around 3 TikTok Shop Lives a week, confidently selling on camera, answering questions and keeping people watching
- Develop hooks, concepts and recurring content formats that can become recognisable parts of the Mersey Raw brand
- Film on our production floor, with our team, our customers, creators and obviously plenty of dogs!
- Work with TikTok Shop creators and turn their content into organic posts and paid ads that sell
- Spot trends early and move quickly enough to actually use them
- Reply to comments with videos, stitches and duets and make our audience feel part of the brand
- Test new ideas constantly, learn from what performs and make more of what works
- Work alongside our TikTok agency on strategy while taking ownership of the day-to-day content

What good looks like
Within your first three months, we want to see Mersey Raw developing a recognisable personality on social. We want a consistent TikTok Live schedule with a growing audience, stronger engagement across our content and TikTok Shop sales moving in the right direction. Most importantly, we want people to start recognising you as part of Mersey Raw.
Who we're looking for
- You’re naturally comfortable on camera or know you should be doing more of it.
- You understand TikTok because you actually use TikTok. You know why someone stops scrolling, why they keep watching and why overly polished brand content often gets ignored.
- You can shoot and edit quickly on your phone and don't need three days to turn an idea into a video.
- You can take an idea at 9am and have it live by lunch.
- You’re confident enough to speak to hundreds of people on a Live, but creative enough to know that selling doesn't always mean giving people a hard sell.
- You understand Gen Z and Gen Alpha internet culture, trends and humour.
- And you need to love dogs.
