About the Role
Texas Sports Academy is a K-12 school designed for serious student-athletes who want both elite academics and high-level athletic development. Students cover 2x the material in just 2 hours a day, using the same 2-Hour Learning model as Alpha Schools. That frees up their entire afternoon for serious training, where they work alongside former pro and D1 athletes coaching them at the highest standard.
We are seeking a Content Creator to join our Marketing team remotely and edit fast-paced, scroll-stopping shortform videos from raw youth sports footage. In this role, you will cut highlights, day-in-the-life clips, and athlete features into Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts, working in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro and collaborating closely with the social media team.
What You'll Do
- Shortform video editing: Edit fast-paced, scroll-stopping shortform videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) from raw youth sports footage, including highlights, day-in-the-life clips, and athlete features, turning around 60-90 second cuts within 24-48 hours of receiving footage.
- Platform-optimized editing: Work in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro to add dynamic captions, trending audio, motion graphics, and pacing techniques optimized for Instagram and TikTok algorithms and youth sports audiences.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with the social media team via Iconik and Slack to pull footage, follow content calendars, and hit weekly posting quotas across multiple sports programs (basketball, baseball, volleyball, flag football).
- Brand consistency: Maintain brand consistency, including our visual style, music licensing compliance, and on-brand graphics and lower thirds, while adapting tone for different platforms and audience segments.
- Trend awareness: Stay current on shortform trends, sounds, and editing styles to proactively suggest formats that drive engagement and follower growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
