Acting as a personal advisor, coordinator, and consultant, the platform aims to turn every study abroad journey into a culturally enriching experience. Role Description The Content Creator Volunteer role is a remote volunteer position focused on developing engaging digital content that supports and grows the Paramount Students community. Day-to-day tasks may include creating social media posts, short articles, blogs, or videos that highlight study abroad experiences, platform features, events, and student stories. The volunteer will help brainstorm content ideas, adapt messaging for different channels, and ensure consistency with the organization’s mission and tone. Additional responsibilities may involve collaborating with team members, participating in online meetings, and reviewing analytics or feedback to refine content. This role is ideal for individuals who want to build their portfolio, gain experience in digital content creation, and support globally-minded students.

Qualifications

  • Ability to create clear, engaging written or visual content (e.g., short posts, blogs, captions, simple graphics, or videos).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram and Facebook) and basic understanding of audience engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Interest in international education, student life, cultural exchange, or community-building initiatives.
  • Basic digital skills (e.g., using content creation tools or editing apps) and willingness to learn new platforms and workflows.
  • Reliable internet access, ability to commit to agreed volunteer hours, and openness to feedback and collaboration.
  • Previous experience in content creation, marketing, or student organizations is beneficial but not required.
