Job Title: Content Creator

Reporting To: Content Lead

Location: London – hybrid working

The job in a nutshell

This role is responsible for creating compelling, on-brand content that supports BB&R's commercial objectives, customer engagement and brand positioning. Working as part of the newly created Studio function, the Content Creator develops multi-channel content across editorial, social media, CRM, website, video and campaign activity, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and tailored to the needs of different audiences.

The role combines strong storytelling, wine expertise and content creation skills with a data-informed approach, using customer insights, content performance and emerging trends to create content that is discoverable, effective and impactful across channels.

Who you will work with

Internal: Content team, Campaigns, Commercial & Digital, Design, Buying

External: Producers and industry experts, agencies where required

What you will do

  • Create compelling content across multiple channels, including website, CRM, social media, video, campaigns and editorial publications.
  • Responsible for commercial and product content, ensuring copy is accurate, engaging and aligned to business objectives.
  • Create content that supports customer acquisition, engagement, retention and conversion across key customer segments.
  • Create content for Fine Wine & Spirits communications, including:
    • BBX & Auctions
    • En Primeur campaigns and communications
    • Market updates
    • Vintage reports
  • Develop content to support BB&R's tiered customer proposition, membership initiatives and customer experiences.
  • Create and adapt content across different formats, channels and audiences, ensuring consistency of tone and message.
  • Work closely with the Studio team to develop content for social media, video and digital channels.
  • Support the creation of video scripts, social-first content and campaign assets where appropriate.
  • Ensure content follows SEO best practices and supports discoverability across search engines and emerging AI-driven search experiences.
  • Use customer insight, performance data and audience trends to continually improve content effectiveness and engagement.
  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and content reuse.
  • Stay up to date with developments across content, social media, search, AI and digital marketing.

What you will bring to the role

Your Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours

  • Exceptional copywriting, editing and storytelling skills across all forms
  • Strong understanding of content marketing and the role content plays across the customer journey.
  • Experience of creating persuasive and compelling copy that fine wine audiences can relate to.
  • Strong understanding of social media content and digital content formats.
  • Ability to interpret data, customer insights and content performance metrics to inform content creation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality content.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across the Studio, Marketing and Commercial teams.
  • Understanding of SEO best practice and content discoverability.
  • Awareness of how AI and changing search behaviours are influencing content consumption and visibility.
  • Creative curiosity and passion for identifying new content opportunities and trends.
  • Strong wine knowledge and understanding of BB&R's products, services and audiences.
  • Interest in social media, video content, emerging platforms and content innovation.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Digital Media or equivalent professional experience.
  • WSET qualification (level 2 minimum) essential
  • Content marketing, SEO or digital marketing qualifications would be advantageous.
