FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Content Designer

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Content Designer to work with our global systems integrator client, supporting a number of high-profile discovery initiatives across a large-scale business transformation programme. You will play a key role in creating clear, accessible, and user-focused content that helps shape service improvements and supports evidence-based decision-making throughout the discovery phase.

This is initially a 4-month assignment starting as soon as possible, with a predominantly remote, UK-based working arrangement and occasional travel to client sites in Bristol, Blackpool, or a client office location for workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Content Design professional who enjoys hands-on delivery, working within multidisciplinary teams, and influencing the design and delivery of user-centred services.

All candidates must hold or be eligible to undergo SC clearance prior to starting in the role.

About the Role

We are seeking a Content Designer to create, review, and improve content across multiple discovery projects. You will work closely with User Researchers, Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Service Designers, Product stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure content meets user needs and supports excellent service outcomes.

The role is delivery-focused, supporting discovery teams in understanding user requirements and translating complex information into clear, concise, and accessible content. You will help shape content strategies, map content journeys, and develop recommendations that improve the user experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
