We are looking for a Content Designer
To create clear, accessible and customer-centred experiences across Account and Compliance.
Working alongside Product Designers, Product Owners, Engineers, Researchers, Legal and Compliance specialists, you will help shape journeys such as registration, onboarding, account management, authentication, verification, payments and safer gambling.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Content Designer to help create clear, useful and inclusive digital experiences across Account and Compliance.
You will work alongside Product Designers, Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Legal and Compliance specialists to improve customer journeys such as registration, onboarding, account management, authentication, verification, payments and safer gambling.
This is a hands-on practitioner role. You will contribute to problem framing, journey mapping, content hierarchy, interaction design, prototyping, delivery and continuous improvement. You will be expected to explain your thinking clearly, respond constructively to feedback and design content that works for customers, the business and the wider product team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create clear, accessible and customer-centred content for digital product journeys.
- Work with Product Designers to shape information hierarchy, user flows, interaction patterns and content structure.
- Translate complex, technical, regulatory or operational information into language customers can understand.
- Contribute to discovery, problem framing, ideation, prototyping and usability testing.
- Use Figma and other collaborative tools to explore and present content in context.
- Work closely with Engineering to understand technical constraints and support accurate implementation.
- Apply content standards, patterns and terminology consistently across products and markets.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product, Research, Localisation and other stakeholders.
- Identify content, interaction or journey problems that may sit beyond the immediate copy request.
- Contribute to post-release learning by reviewing feedback, analytics and other available evidence.
- Balance customer needs, accessibility, business objectives, regulatory requirements and delivery constraints.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the continuing maturity of Content Design within the team.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Practical experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Product Writer or in a closely related product content role.
- Experience creating content for digital products, services or customer journeys.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and structure content around customer needs.
- Understanding of content hierarchy, navigation, interaction states and end-to-end user journeys.
- Experience collaborating with Product Design, Product Management and Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Figma or a similar collaborative design tool.
- Ability to respond constructively to feedback and explain the rationale behind design decisions.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in high-risk, transactional or customer-facing experiences.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive content principles.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience in Account and Compliance, FinTech, banking, payments, insurance, government, gambling or another regulated environment.
- Experience with registration, onboarding, authentication, verification, account management, payments or safer gambling journeys.
- Experience planning or conducting user research, usability testing, comprehension testing or experimentation.
- Experience using analytics, customer feedback or behavioural evidence to improve a product experience.
- Experience designing for multiple markets, languages or localisation requirements.
- Experience contributing to design systems, content standards, terminology or reusable content patterns.
- Experience working through complex Legal, Compliance or regulatory decisions.
- Experience influencing stakeholders where customer needs, commercial goals and regulatory requirements are in tension.
- Experience taking work from early problem framing through implementation and post-release improvement.
- Experience mentoring colleagues or contributing to Content Design practice development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, content operations, automation or structured content systems.
