Requirements
- Experienced at designing content that meets user needs and makes complex concepts, processes and language easy to understand and use
- Ability to work collaboratively with user-centred design colleagues and stakeholders through the agile service design phases from discovery to live
- Participation in user research activities and using both qualitative and quantitative research evidence to inform the design of content and user journeys
- Contribution to prototype development and taking part in user testing to improve content interactions
- Experience in working with and guiding senior stakeholders to produce user-centred content and influencing decision-making with a strong evidence base of user needs
- Ensuring content meets statutory or legal requirements, while remaining accessible and usable to the broadest audiences
- Ability to support and coach teams and stakeholders in the use of user-centred design and agile methodologies
- Advocacy for high standards of usability, accessibility and inclusivity for products and services, staying up to date with best practice for inclusive design and how we can support universal access
- Contribution to our clients' design systems, setting standards for content design
- Detailed understanding and experience of working to the Government Service Standard and the role of content designers within this
Communications and Productivity
- Excellent verbal/written, listening and facilitation skills and confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Technical literacy to understand (at a high-level) technical processes, concepts and constraints
- Ability to recognise and work within project constraints, supporting colleagues to ensure delivery of value to the client and their users
- Keen to support the development of Solirius' internal culture, tools, processes and growth opportunities

Company Development
- Ability to support the development of the Design practice and contribute to the Content Design community of practice
- Contribution to the development of thought leadership content and development of the content calendar to support Solirius marketing activities
- Contribution to client proposals and presentations that will help Solirius win new projects
Candidates should be open to working in different locations for different clients. Although most of our work is remote, candidates should be happy to meet frequently in our London office and travel as client needs dictate.
