Role: Content Designer
Rate: £435 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid
Contract Length: Initial 6 months
Clearance: SC Clearance must be active
We are seeking an experienced Content Designer to support one of our Government Clients on a major digital programme. You will focus on key service areas, including authentication platforms, access controls, and fraud prevention initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Writing and Editing: Translate complex policy and "government-speak" into clear, accessible, user-focused digital content.
- User Focus: Ground design decisions in evidence using data analytics, user research insights, and usability testing.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with user researchers, interaction designers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end services.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with subject matter experts and policy leads to ensure technical accuracy while advocating for content standards and clarity.

Key Requirements

- Proven experience in content management and information architecture.
- Strong background in evidence-based, user-centred content design.
- Expertise in iterative design within agile delivery environments.
- Deep understanding of designing for accessibility and inclusion, meeting GOV.UK standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
