Who we are:

SJR is an award-winning global content agency. Part of VML, we focus on journalistic storytelling and strategic creativity to do content marketing differently. We combine editorial rigor with creative flair and data-led intelligence to develop multiformat content programmes that live across channels and ensure today’s biggest brands can reach and engage their most important audiences.

Our work has earned us numerous accolades including 2025’s Agency of the Year by Content Marketing Awards.

The opportunity

Group SJR is in an exciting phase of growth, combining the agility and culture of a boutique with the scale and capability of a global network. We’re looking for a versatile, self-starting Content Editor with a social-first mindset to join our growing team.

Who we are looking for:

This is a dynamic role focused on multi-channel content production. You are a natural storyteller, who is as comfortable writing snappy social copy or ideating and scripting videos as you are translating technical B2B subject matter into compelling, high-impact content. You embrace new trends, and harness new formats and distribution methods that amplify viewers and keep the conversations going.

In this role, your primary client will be a major, global energy firm.

Who you are:

Social-first thinker: You understand how audiences consume content today. You think both visually and narratively and can ideate and execute campaigns at pace.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
