Role: Web Content Editor

Location: Nottinghamshire, onsite
Job type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £40,000 (D0E)

Our client is a highly successful and rapidly growing B2B organisation with a strong online presence and an ambitious growth strategy. As they continue to invest in their digital channels, they're looking to appoint a meticulous and proactive Web Content Specialist to support the ongoing development of their e-commerce website.

Working closely with the wider digital team, you'll be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a variety of website content, including product listings, category pages, and promotional landing pages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and update product, category, and campaign pages across the company website.
  • Upload and manage content using the organisation's website management systems.
  • Ensure all pages align with brand standards and established website structures.
  • Apply layouts, formatting, and content hierarchy to create clear and visually appealing pages.
  • Maintain consistency across headings, imagery, spacing, and page design.
  • Follow content briefs, templates, and style guidelines accurately.
  • Edit and optimise supplied images through cropping, resizing, and basic enhancements.
  • Ensure imagery is displayed effectively across desktop and mobile devices.

The Right Candidate

  • Previous experience working within a B2B environment.
  • Confidence using content management systems or other web-based platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of content updates.
  • Comfortable following detailed briefs, processes, and brand guidelines.
  • Experience managing website content within an e-commerce or digital environment.
  • Exposure to CMS platforms and website publishing tools.
  • Basic image editing experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
  • Understanding of website usability and online customer journeys.
