I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you
You’re a strong writer with good editorial instincts, plenty of ideas and an eye for detail. This is a mid-level position, so we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects, but who also enjoys being part of a collaborative team. You’ll be comfortable talking to clients and contributors, and confident when it comes to building good working relationships with both.

Experience in automotive or luxury is a bonus, but we’re also interested in hearing from people with a strong editorial background, great ideas and a genuine appetite to learn.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role will involve travel for shoots, launches and driving-based features.
We offer flexible working, but as a small, collaborative team, we like to spend time together in person, so you’ll be expected to work from our Shoreditch office at least three days a week.
