Title: Content Executive

Department: Social / Content

Duration: 6-month freelance contract

Location: UK Remote

You will:

  • Find the strongest short-form moments inside Midnite’s existing and newly produced long-form content.
  • Write and test hooks, first frames and captions that stop the scroll.
  • Edit, caption and correctly format platform-ready content in CapCut, Premiere or equivalent.
  • Treat TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X as different products, adapting the edit and packaging for each.
  • Brief our editors clearly on bigger builds using timecodes, hooks, framing and references.
  • Own the publishing schedule across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X, planned around the football calendar.
  • Monitor performance, spot emerging or declining formats and iterate quickly.
  • Feed high-performing organic work into our paid creative pipeline.
  • Bring new formats and make them feel unmistakably Midnite.
  • Move fast and boldly while working within ASA guidelines and responsible messaging requirements.

  • Has 1–3 years of experience making and publishing short-form content, ideally across multiple brands; sport, betting or entertainment experience is a plus.
  • Is obsessed with short-form and understands how a hook or first frame can transform performance.
  • Has strong hands-on editing ability in CapCut, Premiere or equivalent.
  • Knows TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X in depth, including platform specifications and audience behaviours.
  • Understands football narratives and internet culture, not just match results.
  • Can move from raw footage to a published clip in under an hour when it matters.
  • Writes sharp hooks and captions and backs editorial judgement with a clear rationale.
  • Is organised under volume and confident using scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Is proactive: you bring the idea, cut it, ship it and explain how it performed.
  • Can move quickly without ignoring brand standards, ASA guidance or responsible messaging.
