Location: Birmingham

The Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy content executive to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for creating engaging, high-performing content across a variety of social media platforms for multiple clients and brands.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires someone who can balance creativity with organisation. You'll be comfortable filming, editing and publishing content, spotting emerging trends, and translating client objectives into compelling social campaigns that drive engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Plan, film, edit and publish short-form video content, including Reels and TikToks
  • Produce User-Generated Content (UGC) style assets that feel authentic and platform-native
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging formats and platform updates
  • Manage multiple client accounts and content calendars simultaneously
  • Work closely with clients to understand objectives and content requirements
  • Attend client meetings, content shoots and strategy sessions where required
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop creative campaign ideas
  • Schedule and manage content through Meta Business Suite and other social media management tools
  • Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on insights and analytics
  • Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and marketing objectives
  • Attending client events to capture live social but also b-roll footage and phone photography for post-event content
  • Experience in paid social media is also desirable

Skills & Experience

Essential Skills

  • Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and similar
  • Experience creating engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms
  • Understanding of and experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Experience creating and directing UGC-style content
  • Strong knowledge of current social media trends, platforms and best practices
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Confident appearing on camera and directing others when required
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
  • Influencer management
  • Events
  • Confident copywriter able to draft compelling social media captions, as well as blogs and email newsletters where required

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Social Media Executive, Content Marketing or similar role
  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing video content, social campaigns and content creation work
  • Experience working within an agency environment is desirable but not essential.

  • Growing audience engagement and reach through creative, trend-led content
  • Managing multiple projects efficiently while consistently meeting deadlines
