About Blue Education

At Blue Education, our mission is to empower ambitious students to achieve academic excellence, make confident decisions about their future, and realise their potential to attend some of the world’s leading universities.

We recognise that every student’s journey is different. Our approach combines deep educational expertise with personalised support, helping students and families navigate increasingly complex academic pathways, university admissions, and educational decisions.

As Blue Education enters its next stage of growth, we’re building our presence in the UK and developing new technology-enabled products alongside our established education services.

Our core values guide how we work:

  • Excellence: We uphold high standards of academic rigour and educational quality, helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Diversity and Inclusivity: We value the different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences students bring and aim to create an environment where every student feels supported.
  • Individualised Approach: We recognise that every student has different strengths, ambitions, and challenges, and tailor our support accordingly.
  • Global Perspective: We help students develop the confidence and perspective to thrive in an increasingly global education environment.
  • Continuous Learning: We continually evolve our teaching, technology, and ways of working to remain at the forefront of educational excellence.

Our ambition is bigger than tutoring alone. We want to become a trusted partner to students, parents, and schools, combining educational expertise, content, and technology to help young people make better decisions about their futures.

Why This Role Exists

Blue Education has strong educational expertise, established services, and emerging technology-enabled products, but our presence within the UK content and social ecosystem is still at an early stage.

We’re looking for someone to help take us from 0→1. As our first dedicated UK content and growth hire, you’ll establish how Blue shows up in the market, find the stories worth telling, create content people genuinely want to engage with, and experiment quickly to understand what resonates.

There are three important audiences we want to build relationships with:

  • Parents
  • Students
  • Schools and education professionals

Parents and students represent an important B2C opportunity, while schools and education professionals will be an important part of our B2B growth. These audiences won’t necessarily require the same stories, channels, or approach. A major part of this role will be understanding those differences and determining where and how Blue can have the greatest impact.

You’ll be building, the insight you generate will help shape Blue’s wider UK growth strategy and, over time, the marketing and content team we build around it.

The Role

This is a hands-on content and organic growth role for someone who combines strong storytelling instincts with commercial thinking. You’ll develop ideas and create content yourself, experiment with different messages and formats, learn from how audiences respond, and use those insights to determine what Blue should do more, or less, of. You’ll have the freedom to test channels and formats rather than being handed an established marketing playbook.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about why people pay attention, what makes them care, and what makes content spread.

You’ll also be expected to connect content to growth. Success isn’t simply about publishing more or growing follower numbers. We want to understand whether our content is reaching the right people, building trust, developing relationships with schools, and ultimately contributing to enquiries, conversations, and commercial opportunities.

This is not a performance marketing role centred on managing large paid acquisition budgets, optimising CAC, or inheriting an established demand-generation engine.

It’s also not a role for someone who wants to manage marketing entirely through agencies or external partners. We need someone who wants to create, test, learn, and build.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build Blue’s UK presence

    • Establish and grow Blue Education’s presence across the channels that matter most to our UK audiences.
    • Develop clear positioning and messaging that makes Blue distinctive, credible, and relevant.
    • Build awareness and trust with parents, students, schools, and education professionals.
    • Identify the conversations, communities, and opportunities where Blue should have a voice.
    • Understand how our positioning and content should differ across B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Build an organic content engine

    • Own Blue’s UK content strategy and turn it into consistent execution.
    • Find compelling stories within Blue’s educational expertise, students, founders, products, and the wider education landscape.
    • Personally create high-quality content across formats such as short-form video, social, thought leadership, email, educational content, and campaigns.
    • Turn complex educational topics into clear, useful, and engaging stories.
    • Develop repeatable ways of turning strong ideas into multiple pieces of content across relevant channels.
    • Experiment with brand-led, founder-led, and creator-style content.
    • Create content that supports both direct audience growth and Blue’s relationships with schools and education partners.
  • Experiment and learn

    • Develop hypotheses about what Blue’s UK audiences care about and test them quickly.
    • Experiment with different hooks, stories, messages, formats, audiences, and distribution approaches.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative signals to understand why particular content performs.
    • Build a clear picture of what resonates differently with parents, students, and schools.
    • Apply those learnings quickly rather than relying on a fixed marketing calendar.
    • Be comfortable stopping activity that isn’t working and doubling down on what is.
  • Turn content into growth

    • Think beyond impressions and follower numbers to understand whether marketing is reaching and influencing the right people.
    • Track audience growth, engagement, website activity, qualified enquiries, booked calls, and other meaningful commercial signals.
    • Identify ways content can support Blue’s B2B relationships and conversations with schools.
    • Work with the wider team to connect marketing activity with commercial opportunities.
    • Identify which audiences, messages, and channels have the greatest potential to contribute to Blue’s growth.
  • Use AI to move faster

    • Use AI as a core part of your marketing workflow rather than an occasional tool.
    • Apply AI to research, ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing, localisation, analysis, and content production.
    • Experiment with emerging tools that could improve the speed, quality, or scale of Blue’s marketing.
    • Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows that allow a small team to produce high-quality output efficiently.
    • Use AI to amplify your creativity and judgement rather than replace them.

  • Build the foundations for what’s next
    • Establish the processes, templates, and workflows needed to create a scalable marketing function.
    • Use early experimentation to identify where Blue should invest further.
    • Manage freelancers, creators, editors, designers, or specialist partners where they can increase our impact, while remaining close to execution yourself.
    • Work closely with the founders and leadership team to turn business priorities into compelling content and campaigns.
    • Over time, help define the capabilities and people Blue needs to build around you as the marketing function grows.

What we’re looking for

We’re less interested in a perfect sequence of job titles and more interested in evidence that you’ve built, created, and grown something. You’ll probably have around 4–6 years’ experience across content marketing, growth marketing, brand, social, community, or a combination of these areas.

More importantly, we’d like to see evidence that you can:

  • Build awareness or an audience from a relatively low starting point.
  • Create compelling content yourself rather than relying entirely on agencies or a content team.
  • Identify interesting stories, insights, and angles that others might miss.
  • Understand what makes content work organically.
  • Adapt messaging and content for different B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Experiment quickly and use the results to make better decisions.
  • Translate complex or specialist subjects into simple, engaging stories.
  • Combine strong creative instincts with commercial judgement.
  • Understand how content and audience growth can contribute to commercial outcomes.
  • Use AI confidently to improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
  • Operate with significant autonomy and ownership.
  • Thrive in an environment where there isn’t an existing playbook to follow.

What success looks like

Success means more of the right people in the UK know who Blue Education is, understand why we’re different, and want to engage with us. That includes building meaningful awareness and engagement with parents and students, alongside establishing greater credibility and relationships with schools and education professionals.

In your first 90 days, we’d expect you to:

  • Develop a clear understanding of Blue’s priority UK audiences and their different needs.
  • Sharpen Blue’s UK positioning, messaging, and content voice.
  • Identify the channels and formats worth prioritising across B2C and B2B.
  • Establish a practical, repeatable content engine.
  • Personally create and test content rather than spending months developing a strategy before launching.
  • Establish consistent activity across priority channels.
  • Generate early audience growth and meaningful engagement.
  • Begin developing awareness and relationships within the schools and education community.
  • Develop a clearer understanding of which stories, messages, and formats resonate.
  • Establish measurement that connects content activity with meaningful commercial signals.

Over the following 6–12 months:

  • We’d expect those learnings to translate into a clearer and increasingly repeatable growth engine. You’ll help Blue understand what works, why it works, and where we should invest next
