About Blue Education

At Blue Education, our mission is to empower ambitious students to achieve academic excellence, make confident decisions about their future and realise their potential to attend some of the world’s leading universities.

We combine deep educational expertise with personalised support, helping students and families navigate complex academic pathways, university admissions and educational decisions.

As Blue Education enters its next stage of growth, we’re building our UK presence and developing new technology-enabled products alongside our established education services.

Our core values guide how we work:

  • Excellence: We uphold high standards of academic rigour and educational quality.
  • Diversity & Inclusivity: We value different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences.
  • Individualised Approach: We recognise every student has different strengths, ambitions and challenges.
  • Global Perspective: We prepare students to thrive in an increasingly global education environment.
  • Continuous Learning: We continually evolve our teaching, technology and ways of working.

Our ambition goes beyond tutoring. We want to become a trusted partner to students, parents and schools, combining educational expertise, content and technology to help young people make better decisions about their futures.

Why This Role Exists

Blue Education has strong expertise, established services and emerging technology-enabled products, but our presence within the UK content and social ecosystem is still at an early stage.

We’re looking for someone to help take us from 0→1.

As our first dedicated UK Content & Growth hire, you’ll establish how Blue shows up in the market, find the stories worth telling, create content people genuinely want to engage with and experiment quickly to understand what resonates.

There are three important audiences we want to build relationships with:

  • Schools and education professionals
  • Parents
  • Students

Schools and education professionals are an important part of our B2B growth, while parents and students represent a significant B2C opportunity. These audiences won’t necessarily require the same stories, channels or approach, and part of your role will be determining where and how Blue can have the greatest impact.

You’ll be building rather than inheriting, with the opportunity to shape Blue’s UK growth strategy and, over time, the marketing and content function around it.

The Role

This is a hands-on content and organic growth role for someone who combines strong storytelling instincts with commercial thinking. You’ll develop ideas and create content yourself, experiment with messages and formats, learn from how audiences respond and use those insights to decide what Blue should do more, or less, of.

Success isn’t simply about publishing more or growing follower numbers. We want to understand whether our content is reaching the right audiences, building trust, developing relationships with schools and contributing to enquiries, conversations and commercial opportunities. This is not a traditional performance marketing role centred on large paid acquisition budgets or an established demand-generation engine. We need someone who wants to create, test, learn and build.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

    • Use what you learn to help define where Blue should invest next.
    • Over time, help shape the capabilities and team needed as the marketing function grows.

What We’re Looking For

We’re less interested in a perfect sequence of job titles and more interested in evidence that you’ve built, created and grown something.

You’ll probably have around 4–6 years’ experience across content marketing, growth marketing, brand, social, community or a combination of these areas.

We’d like to see evidence that you can:

  • Build awareness and audiences from a relatively low starting point.
  • Personally create compelling content rather than relying entirely on agencies or a content team.
  • Find interesting stories, insights and angles that others might miss.
  • Understand what makes content work organically.
  • Adapt messaging and content for different B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Experiment quickly and turn results into better decisions.
  • Translate complex subjects into simple, engaging stories.
  • Combine strong creative instincts with commercial judgement.
  • Understand how content and audience growth contribute to commercial outcomes.
  • Use AI confidently to improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
  • Operate with significant autonomy and ownership.
  • Thrive without an established marketing playbook.

Experience within education, EdTech or another early-stage environment would be valuable but isn’t essential.

What Success Looks Like

Success means more of the right people in the UK know who Blue Education is, understand why we’re different and want to engage with us.

In your first 90 days, we’d expect you to:

  • Develop a clear understanding of our priority UK audiences.
  • Sharpen Blue’s UK positioning, messaging and content voice.
  • Identify the channels and formats worth prioritising across B2B and B2C.
  • Establish a practical and repeatable content engine.
  • Personally create, launch and test content.
  • Generate early audience growth and meaningful engagement.
  • Begin building awareness and relationships within the schools and education community.
  • Understand which stories, messages and formats are resonating.
  • Establish measurement that connects content with meaningful commercial signals.

Over the following 6–12 months, those learnings should translate into an increasingly repeatable growth engine. You’ll help Blue understand what works, why it works and where we should invest next, while helping shape the future marketing and content function.

Compensation & Benefits

  • £55,000–£70,000 salary, depending on experience.
  • Performance-related bonus linked to agreed growth milestones.
  • Performance-based stock options, subject to company policy.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Paid annual leave and public holidays.
  • Professional development support and access to leading AI and marketing tools.
  • Budget for content production, experimentation, creators, events and relevant marketing platforms.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to build a brand and audience from the ground up, create content that genuinely earns attention and help shape Blue Education’s growth in the UK, we’d love to hear from you.
